My 8 Weeks to a Healthier Life

I'm a little with this but better late than never! Last week I finished an 8 week program with NatTilly Fitness. I've been checking in here a few times with you guys over the last few weeks so I wanted to give you a low down on the full 8 weeks!

First off, I have no idea where that 8 weeks went. It was a whirlwind of an 8 weeks but absolutely amazing. 

So the verdict!
In 8 weeks I dropped 4.4kg! 

Whilst dropping weight was not my main priority, loosing fat was, but I did have weight to lose. It my not seem like to a lot of you like a whole pile of weight to lose in 8 weeks, the change in my body physically and mentally is amazing. I didn't take measurements or measure my fat content but you can see the fat loss. 

I'm not gonna post photos as they are quite a personal thing. Maybe down the line I will. And I hope you appreciate where I am coming from. 

I cannot express how sad I was to have to done my final check in with Nathalie last week. She was and IS the most amazing person I've ever come across. And it just happened by fluke that I came across her on social media. I've never met her personally, hopefully in August I will get to have a PT session with her. She has changed my life. Yes she has helped me achieve my goals physically but it's mentally I think is the best achievement. 

My outlook on life is so different now. I'm more positive about life. I feel happier and so much more confident, in myself. I have more energy, to the extinct people have asked me have I taken something, haha!

I'm feeling my body with amazing food. Before I was addicted to sugar, now I don't think I'll ever use it again. Sugar is the devil. Because I'm fuelling my body with the good stuff, its repaying me with loads of energy.  I'm more conscious of what I'm putting in my body eg. Is that latte worth the liquid calories? I'd rather eat my calories than drink it. Haha.
I've not "cut out" much food, but I have substituted them.  
For example, ( I've a blog post coming on this soon)
I'm having an Americano instead of a latte.
I use toffee drops instead of sugar, 
I'm using water and Greek Yoghurt in my porridge instead of milk.

All of the little changes in food have made big changes to me and my life. This is not the end for me. I can't wait for the next 8 weeks, that's my next goal, as we are off the Vegas!!!!!

I was so bold the day I finished the plan, I ate everything I wanted, and oh did I regret it that night. I used to have all those foods on a regular basis, and made me think how did i do that to my body. I felt crap, I felt sick, I was sooooo bloated. To be honest, I'm glad that I felt so awful cause it was a wake up call to me, not to do it as often. Yes the food was yummy, but was it worth the way I felt afterwards? Definitely not!!!!!

I know I can never go back to the way of lifestyle that I was leading. I've worked too hard to get to where I am now, and I've loved every second of it. 

I would highly recommend Nathalie as a coach. I think I'm gonna sign up for another 8 weeks in the winter, just to push myself a little further, but I'll see how I manage for the next 8 weeks on my own.
