New Lifestyle - 6 Weeks In

Jumper Body Logic | Leggings Nike, Similar Here, Runners Adidas, Similar Here
    Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I am currently in Ballybunion! I am heading home in the morning as I am back to work tomorrow night! I've had an amazing time! So chilled out and relaxing!

I headed to Killarney last week and picked up some new Gym gear so perfect opportunity to shoot them on the beach today!

As you know I began a lifestyle change 6 weeks ago! Whilst I haven't been tracking my journey online, I have been tracking it, very carefully, LOL!

I will start tracking my progress from here on out on my Instagram. I just wanted to get my head around the whole things and get my head in the game as they say! But I'm glad to say, that is well and truly happening!

I haven't even been very active on Instagram as I've been working extra shifts and working nights.
I have started stressing less about things also so I am so much more relaxed.
When I started the program, I was planning my times to eat, my times to train, time to get up etc! This was totally wrong and impractical. I stressed myself out so much I started to give myself serious pains in my shoulders. But now, I go with the flow. I have a routine that works for me without being so strict on myself.

I have learned so much over the last 6 weeks, it's actually crazy. And hopefully I will be able to bring some of that knowledge to my orlahartnett.com and to my instagram.

I don't have an end date for this. I may be doing an 8 week program but this is something I want to continue for the foreseeable future. I am still not where I  want to be physique wise. But to be honest I don't know where I want to be in the sense of how look. But I am happy with that. I am not aiming to be a certain size. The most important thing for me is how I feel.

Our trip to Las Vegas is 11 weeks away and I want to feel my best. Yes I want to look my best but feeling it is the most important.

So 5 weeks in, what's the verdict?

I am down weight, Down body fat!
I have LOADS of energy!
I am sleeping so much better, I am powering through my night shifts and sleeping so well after the night shift, which 6 weeks ago, I wasn't!
I am never hungry, I mean never!
And best of all, I am LOVING the workouts. I also love walking up the following morning sore! Cause I know I gave that workout socks!
I'm wearing short sleeve t-shirts again(which I haven't done in a very long time)
I'm more body confident!
My skin is so much more clear!

If changing your lifestyle is something you have ever considered, get up and do it now! Start with a 20 minute brisk walk for a week or so, and build it up, but what I will say is, Start Lifting Weights! You will love it!

I'll be touching on this topic a lot more in the foreseeable future so Hope you've enjoyed this post!
