Believe to Acheive Cardiobells Class

Happy Thursday!

Last night I attended my first fitness class and I loved it! Can't believe I can say that though. Last week I got a message from Pat, the owner of Believe to Achieve messaged me on facebook to offer me a special offer on some classes because I participated in a competition they were running on their Facebook page. So It take me long to book into some classes. If you follow me on snapchat: orls29, you'll have seen that last week I decided to get healthier and fitter again as I wasn't feeling great. So this opportunity came at the perfect time.

Because I work 12 hour shifts and I have a bit to travel to get to work, I chose some classes that I could do on my days off. It was a little bit of eeny meeny, miny mo in choosing the classes!
So I picked Cardiobells as my first class and Spin and Pump as my second class which is tonight.

I told ye yesterday over on Snapchat, I had no idea what was ahead of me. But that didn't stop me going!

I tend to be early for everything so I got there about 10 to 7, so Eoin, the trainer for the Cardiobells class told me to do 10-15 minutes on the bike to warm up.

Downstairs they have a massive gym area with so many different types of machines etc and trainers going around helping everyone. Then upstairs they have the area for the classes.

We used 2 different weights of kettle bells, don't know what weight they were though, but they weren't too heavy. The girl next to me was doing the class for the first time as well, so I felt a little bit more confident! We did a few minutes on the spinning bike and then we started the hard bit!

To give a quick run down of the class, it was 3 sets of different exercises for 15-20 minutes each time with a few minutes break in between using kettle bells all the time.
So each set included, not in this order and I'm missing some:
Jumping jacks
Kettle bell swing with 2 hands then 1 hand each,
Squats
Forward Lunges,
Backward lunges,
Planking
Sit-ups
Russian twists,
Core exerises and so many others that I don't know the name of, but you get to work EVERY SINGLE muscle in your body.
Not one muscle gets left out. I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. I am struggling to move today and that is a brilliant sign!
I am so excited for tonight's class and ill try bring you along over on my snapchat (orls29) if I can!

I think I will definitely be signing up for more classes for the next few weeks.
Stay tuned for another post on tonight's class!
